ARTech Charter School Board Elections

ARTechARTech Charter School needs Northfield community members with an interest in serving on the board of directors for the school.  ARTech is a publicly funded charter school whose board of directors meets monthly to provide financial oversight, strategic planning and guidance adhering to the school's mission.  The mission of ARTech is, in part, to "prepare our students to transition intellectually, emotionally, and ethically to higher education and future employment."

The five school board positions that are up for election are:

  1. Teacher member – three (3) year term
  2. Community/Parent member – three (3) year term
  3. Community/Parent member – three (3) year term
  4. Teacher member – one (1) year term
  5. At Large member – two (2) year term

The election schedule is:

  1. Deadline to file for election – Sept. 19, 2008
  2. Mailing of ballots – Sept. 26, 2008
  3. Deadline to return ballots – Oct. 13, 2008
  4. Announce election results – Oct. 16, 2008
