Monte's Steak House of Faribault Closed Until Further Notice

Although not about Northfield, many of us and several businesses will feel this impact either positively or not so much!
I talked to the manager of Monte's Steak House today, while trying to make a reservation. He told me that due to the soft economy they were closed and trying to re-organize something. Very vague, no target date to re-open.

I have heard a rumor that he(the manager) email all of his employees one morning saying somthing along the lines of dont come to work today we are closed. I have also heard that the steakhouse has no want to ever re-open. I hope they can find the financial support to re-open because they have delicious food.

Hello, I am Frank “the Culinary Wiseguy” Marzario. I appreciated all of your patronage. Thank you so much for joining us at Monte’s for great cuisine, drinks and music. It was a lot of fun and always positive energy. While Monte’s sustained the best it could through a softening economy; Monte’s had no choice but to close the doors. I as the owner of the building and restaurant , have shaved the monthly operating expenses (dramatically) and look forward to finding a seasoned restaurateur to come in and take over. The recipe is simple; great cuisine, great guest service=success. I will keep an update of all events happening at the ole Monte’s Steak House and the Marzario Building.
