Weekend Happenings: September 18-21, 2008

NEG - Sept. 2008 The ArtOnWater Gallery is having ChARTdonnay Thursday from 5-8 p.m. The Grand Event Center is having wine club from 7-9 p.m. Ian Alexy is playing The Tavern Lounge.

There is a Lecture: “Africa in the Americas: The Creole Potters of St. Lucia” on Friday from 11 a.m.-Noon in Boliou 161 at Carleton. Bonnie and the Clydes is playing The Contented Cow from 8-11 p.m. The Tavern Lounge is hosting Cam Waters.

On Saturday at 7 p.m. Christina & Peter are playing The Contented Cow. The Carleton College Art Gallery has an Exhibit Opening Reception from 8-10 p.m. Chad Johnson is playing Froggy Bottoms from 9 p.m.-12:30 a.m., and Relativity is playing The Tavern Lounge.

There is a Faculty Recital at 4:30 p.m. in the Urness Recital Hall at St. Olaf on Sunday. The weekly Politics and a Pint at 6 and Northern Roots Session at 7:30 are happening at The Contented Cow. St. Olaf is having a Student Recital at 7 p.m. in Urness Recital Hall.
